ReplyDeleteI had a standing ovation for my performance of my new favourite 'My Favourite Things'.
We grilled hotdogs and sausage dogs outside over the firepit tonight...with all the fixins's. Later s'mores were requested. They were on the ready for our campfire guests.
Afterwards James' clever lyrics were shared for our fireside song fest. After teaching our guests the new profound rendition of My Favourite Things they were moved to tears after hearing and contemplating such profound lyrics penned by our resident lyricist at N.O.,one J. H.!
No doubt my Julie Andrewesque interpretation caused a shed tear or a dozen by them. After such a nice non chalant and relaxing evening they suddenly bid us ta! I suppose they had an early morning coming and suddenly remembered.
They weren't mine, Toodles, they were sent by Rossa's mother and she saw them on the net. But yes, they were clever.
