A book at bedtime

Let's give the links in comments [transferred to a post] a rest until tomorrow morning now and instead, as DR suggests:
 "Listen while you work...or don't. Give the old imagination a workout."  


Personally, I'm pouring a tipple to have with the coffee and am going to listen that way.

  2. When I was working on night shift the book at bedtime was addictive listening. Some of the readers were excellent, capturing the voices in dialogue just right, not overdoing it. This was about twenty years ago but I can still remember a Carl Hiassen book like it was yesterday.
