Wednesday [9 to 11]

(0800) Morning all, in case I forgot to say it. (0930)

11.  Hardly surprising, is it?

Demonrat of course:

10.  The three letter sites

9.  Second roundup

Weep for him while he’s still alive

Londoner Vinnie, on X, posted a most interesting tweet on St George’s Day:

Vinnie not long ago was done the dirty on and it’s partly why I keep myself away from the fair sex now, though the main reason is circumstances. It would have to be a pretty special, trad lady these days and anyway, would I be good enough for her? A fair question. Judging by recent encounters, the question is still on the table. Interesting.

There’s a joke about guys … that the woman’s already moved on long before she actually goes, whereas the man can text her two months later and say … you were this, this and that, you did this to me, but we could still make a go of it. Ha ha. Ms Hypergamy though is a few partners further on by the time of that call. Or an unkind person would call her Ms 304 … we’re pulling no punches here.

Of course it cuts both ways and the guy still playing the field at 30+, in full bonk-anything-in-a-skirt mode, needs to ask himself a few questions. As do the cry-rape chicks. The interpersonal behaviour today is truly shocking and my concern is primarily for the propagation of the western species versus the invader species … think you see where I’m going there.

Both sexes really need to stop, take stock, women need to become ladies again and teach their daughters to, fathers need to still be in the home and not scarpering or else taken to the cleaners by the career single mother.  Not many seem guiltless these days.

There has been a sharp rise in gals on youtube calling out other gals … interesting for a man … here are two such ladies:

Coming back to Vinnie and that notion of her crying for him while he’s still alive, not after he’s dead … here’s that Russian song I was referring to:

Some of the lyrics in English, very rough translation:

For what to know when he passes away
For what to know about what he sings
For what to know that which he knows not himself
For what to know whom he loved
For what to know about what he asked
For what to know about what he was silent about?

Po-plach o nyom, po-ka on zhivoi; lyubi yevo, takim kakoi on yest; Po-plach o nyom, po-ka on zhivoi; lyubi yevo, takim kakoi on yest

[If you must, then] cry about him while he's still alive.
Love him for whom he is right now.
Cry about him while he's still alive.
Love him for whom he is now.

It's a reference to the young soldier gone to war and his girl weeps for him now, long after all their fights and so on.  At one point, it says that she already sees herself in the role of a widow.

And now to a very special verse, the last one - you can hear the band quieten down before the finale [no transliteration for this, just a translation of the last line]:

Today you die, tomorrow they call you a poet.

Hmmmm … I personally like, maybe even love, women as people … how they think, act, move, write, laugh … half my friends are men, half women … and what? I don’t see why it can’t be so … except that Wokism and detestation of the other sex has set in and it threatens the west … meanwhile, look at what is still breeding all around us, filling up our countries … while we are not.  While we stay distant from one another.

Those two ladies linked to above … both are angry with what feminazism (one division of satanism) has done to the sexes but I’m equally angry at men who allowed feminazis to have a cause at all … and they did, unfortunately. Some men I know are the worst narcissists around, as bad as any female narcissist today.

Both western sexes really need to take stock before it’s too late.

And lastly, go back to that Russian song, watch it. Tell me how those young people are any different to how our young people once were? So why are our western young killing each other?

Yesterday, I sported the cross of St George in my moniker, Americans should sport their flag, Russians should sport theirs … why not be proud of your nation? Today I write in support of MAGA and the new Argentina. Why not? How on earth does being proud of your nation translate into go off and slaughter other people’s?

Wednesday [3 to 8]

(0417) Midweek Evets is up across the way. (0525) First light inthis part of Blighty and it looks total Gates cover, with dark sections across the firmament. (0527)

8.  DAD across the way

a) Copy of a letter from an EU group criticising Italian PM for allowing Pro-lifers to enter Abortion premises.

b) Four individuals, including two Tunisian minors and an Algerian in an irregular situation, are accused of having organized meetings with homosexual people in order to “punish” them. They were arrested in Saint-Pol-sur-Mer.

The process is reminiscent of that of Philippe's attackers, in the nearby town of Grande Synthe.

c) On Tuesday, the police evicted the occupants (young migrants from Mali, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast) from around thirty tents in the 5th arrondissement, offering them a departure for Besançon. Usual operations, assures the prefecture, which denies any link with the imminence of the Olympics while the associations denounce a “social cleansing” of the capital.

A few metres away, in the darkness, a bus is waiting with the door open. The prefecture's services offer a rehousing solution in Besançon (Doubs), but few migrants seem interested in an adventure in the East of France.

JH: DAD’s is a classic case where I must do some redaction for ONO, without telegraphing my moves too much. It’s not DAD’s fault but his are the most labour intensive drops in that trigger words can skew or lose entire posts with us. So urls can’t transfer for a start. Situation is best resolved by reading DAD in situ at NOWP.

Now Evets today … you’ll notice I did not mention where it was, just “across the way”. Everything of this nature is deliberate, designed to be clear enough to patrons but not to outsiders.

7.  First roundup of the day

6.  The New St George

All sorts of observation over at NOWP 644:2 …

Chris is right in writing that I “missed out this Richard Thompson classic”.  Thing is, if I did not transfer IYE’s two to ONO, I can’t very well with Chris’s either …

… plus …

When I went into the dash, there was a warning about the content, so thought it best not to try to write in (2) … enjoy it across the way, ok?

5.  IYE across the way

JH: Yes indeed … the other issue which was “paired” wi’it at the time was the McMartin Preschool case. I put Omaha airforce base as a third component of that, where blue-eyed kids fetched top prices.

4.  Another example of local rags being litmus tests

… for the western malaise:

Wednesday [1 and 2]

(0328) The bleedin’ birds have started up their racket again … interesting how they communicate. (0411)

2.  Some sort of op-ed

a.  Age and memory

Eventually we’re alone or die … nowt we can do … plus we deteriorate, think we need to face up to that. We need to make our arrangements but people like me are bad at that. Still … we must … always given that circumstances are about to change in this country … not as the scaremongers carry on about but still … they’re going to fall away. Everything in this place is modular, the rest is left behind.

The ability to reason, edit etc. is still ok, give or take, in my case … the memory less so and the danger is that droppers might see intent on my part in perhaps not including their piece here and there.  Hmmmm … that’s likely to be that the platform won’t allow, second reason sheer memory and moving st too fast a pace. My overall deterioration is another factor though I’m in reasonable overal nick, still physically scooting around, falling into walls.

My solution to the memory thing is to be organised … for example, the finished Strepsils pack sits near the meds box … constant reminder to phone and order … there are white plastic trays all over, each with a purpose. And that must never alter … no brilliant reorganisation ideas … nope, leave it as it is, don’t interfere. Do. Not. Interfere. With. The. Original. Plan.

b.  The Geelong Advertiser

… plus the Liverpool Echo.  These are local rags at opposite ends of the globe and yet excellent litmus tests of how far Wokery has permeated local area. I’m not sure local rags ever reflected reality, except in local sports results, e.g. the U16 tiddlywinks challenge against Greater Bootle … things like that … or some lovely starting a modelling career etc.

I just saw the opportunity, once these went paywall, to still grab headlines now and then as an insight into local matters, as seen by some big city editor given her start in the workplace … The Echo’s going paywall now and it has a foreign woman as editor. This is the sort of thing:

I was never a Geelong resident, nor a Liverpudlian but that’s no reason to unsubcribe.  That car catching fire last evening was from The Echo … M57.

1.  Man from the West Country one

JH: Just as an exercise, let’s do this (op ed “2c”) … I was asked how far I interfere with the “droppers’ text” in drops and the answer is … very little … they can answer this better than I. My additions are either JH plus whatever follows or in italics, as in top and bottom of the Ripper piece. Each of our droppers is reading this, so knows how far this is true or not. I wrote to a friend:

That was Ripper’s text … my addition was in italics, top and bottom. There were one or two apostrophes and full stops (periods). That was all. You see, those boys are fiercely independent and brusque and would never abide my interference.”

That’s the editorial policy here but not at, say, Gates of Vienna in 2006, where Dymphna asked for my take on China, then promptly said she was an “editor”, meaning she reserved the right to chop and change a contributed article.  Those were my early, raw blogging days, plus fair dos but it warrnt a very good article to be sure, so no hard feelings. Plus she and I liked one another’s copy in general.

Finding that fine editorial line is a constant issue, as there’s the little matter of contracted conditions with the platform, plus changing legalities … I lack the budget of an Ian Hislop, so need to watch both that and to protect our droppers as well. I was more editorial with Wiggia when he “dropped” but that’s history.

12.  IYE

a.  Two Ralph McTell versions of his England hymn over at NOWP. I thought of bringing them across but they're better with IYE's commentary over there ... more personal.

b.  The Julie Kelly screenshot ... oops, I forgot where I'd nicked it from, it was in photos just now, just ran it. It was IYE's.

I can do no more than agree with David Craig in his summary of 'Net Zero' planning:

"Luke Johnson, pointed out that due to Net Zero the UK’s energy prices were five times those in China and twice those in the US and that this risks leading to deindustrialisation and national bankruptcy"

"Fact 1: The UK has halved its CO2 emissions since the 1980s :
Fact 2: This has been achieved by destroying much of British manufacturing:
Fact 3: This has, of course, resulted in a massive loss of manufacturing jobs:"

"Sometimes I despair at the imbecility of our politicians and mainstream media."

Tuesday [7]

(1622) Just woke up, literally, from a two hour sleep after training and second meal. Cunning plan for those training is protein before, liquid sipper at intervals throughout, protein intake within forty mins after. What they never say is that if you're at this caper at my age, one zonks as like as not. As I did. At my post. (1730)

7.  At the going down of the sun

If I say I never saw enemy action in anger ... not yet anyway ... then it just happened that way. I certainly trained for it, we were to be called over to the cauldron ... but it never happened. Twice there was political action which saw us "demobbed" as our elders once called it.

I sure saw enemy action in NI but as a non-combatant. If they'd checked out my car reg, connected to the British army ... but maybe not as we were protected that way. Similarly, I saw Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin, was right there while it was still there in anger, the two Berlins divided, but again on leave.

Yes, I was on many an exercise, spent time in APCs (shan't say if bulldog or what, shan't mention regiment) but the only time I was shot at (and killed by the way in a "your dead, my son" manner) was on a hilltop when a sneaky opposition sod found me in a command position and that was that.

Poor spatial awareness had me swapping career paths rather than taking a cushy backroom job and the rest, as they say, was history. One never knows but not sure it was a question of courage ... we were trained, we knew the drill ... but I was pushed into a command role and was not all that good at it, imho ... my sergeant never said a word but he knew and so it was a best not to stay on and be found out in the field ... fine as a squaddy, not as a one pip wearer.

What all that meant though is I know an active serviceman when I meet one, I've hobnobbed with an NCO or two, I worked for army and thus I say today's civvies have not a bleedin' clue what's coming ... possibly good thing too, as it would frighten the ... well, enough of that.  You see, we know the words we say here are "we're being betrayed from above" but Steve, for example, knows the full implications of that and I understand the scorn takes on a different edge to that of Digger etc. ... just as real ... but different.

In our last thoughts on St George's ... Steve again:

A warrior nation indeed, James. Remembering the Battle of Maldon (991 AD) and the Viking invasion of Essex. We were outnumbered, but we fought on without hope of victory. Earl Byrhtnoth, Ealdorman of Essex and commander of the East Saxon fyrd, took on this huge force with a fierceness that echoes down the ages..
Thought shall be the harder, heart the keener,
Mood shall be the more as our might lessens.'
So in the hour of maximum adversity and danger they closed their ranks and were true to one another. Save one dispatched young messenger they all went down fighting.

If the English ever do wake up ... before the enemy are activated in every camp across the nation that is, rather like knives through butter ... then and only then will this ring true in this song:
