Tuesday - Fête de Saint Georges.

a) On Friday, April 20th, the French capital was the scene of street violence from the Afghan community. While the trouble went unnoticed by the mainstream press, the nation’s Right condemned the wilful blindness of the national media.

The violence was sparked by a sordid episode of murder and arson that occurred on April 7th in the Rue de Charonne, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. According to the initial investigation, Afghan refugees settling scores led to the deaths of three men. One man allegedly shot dead his two guests in the flat he was renting. He then tried to erase the traces of his crime by soaking his home with fuel before setting fire to it. He is said to have died after throwing himself out of a window to escape the flames.

b) The Left is a religion. If you don't hear that, you don't understand anything. The Left is a religion. She rejects heretics and all those who do not think like her are heretics. She advances with her heart slung over her shoulder but she wears excommunication on the edge of her lips. She embodies the camp of Good. Better yet, she is Good. And too bad if Maastricht disappoints! And too bad if too many taxes kill taxes! And too bad if the debt increases! And too bad if state reform will wait!

Its activists are believers. They believe that secularism will win, that Islamism will disappear, that France will win. Reality collides with this ideal. The French no longer share the same God, nor the same morals and sometimes the same language. Never mind ! The man of the Left, the immemorial, the child of Jaurès, the son of Mendes France, the heir of Mitterrand, is impervious to the evidence. Utopia is enough.

c) A regular scooterist, aged 38, appeared at the hearing of the Montpellier judicial court this Friday, April 19. Already convicted for acts of the same nature last January and then in February, he was placed under judicial supervision on April 4 for new similar offences.

But three days later, he was arrested by Bac police officers searching the glove box of a parked car, which had been broken into. Due to procedural concerns, he was nevertheless released on April 9.

But it was stepping back to jump better. Without much surprise, the police apprehended him again on April 16, when he had just broken the window of a vehicle using a pétanque ball ......
