Baby Deltics. When I toured the London engine sheds back in the late 60s there were always some to be seen (and crawled all over) at Stratford. As John F wrote they must has been predominantly used on the east coast routes, that must have been some sight.
Great stuff, I remember the 37s being delivered new up the East Coast Main Line, observed from school playing fields.
