21.  The Brit-blog malaise

Main problem is they are all very US centric. I know the UK is fairly irrelevent in global trend terms but I have yet to find a good aggregator specialising in UK news of our interests. You James are as good as I have found, SDA is less US centric and cast their net a bit wider, even TCW have some good articles, and of course we have a number of good bloggers, but perforce each post tends to be single subject. If I'm as good as there is on Britnews, then it's pretty p-poor as mine has certainly contracted since, say, 2010.  America naturally dominates just now for obvious reasons and even Brit-focused blogs of our kind run American issues or currently a Canadian.

Just looking at my blogrolls, there's certainly TCW, Julia's prolific but from her angle, the best socmed for Brit matters is actually Twitter, where I can't go.  Anna Raccoon, Raedwald and so many others, e.g. Man in a Shed, have died or have died away, as has the Grumpologist ... go though my blogrolls and see how many of our viewpoint are going as strongly as our boys here.

Rossa's mum can't now, Toodles is under the hammer over there and is Bama.  AKH addresses some Brit issues but also philosophy.  DK used to do a lot, Mr. Eugenides, Ross Fountain covered the issues. Churchmouse sometimes does.  Longrider gives short, one issue commentaries.

Hate to say this but chaps ... it ... er ... does seem down to us here just now.  If you think that's bollox and there are Brit type Vox Days about, p,ease tell us.  Do not fear, we intend to keep on keeping on here, just thinking about it, that's all.  We have some Ian J coming up
