News about the French Presidential Election via "Gates of Vienna".
Mr. Zemmour is driving the legacy media bananas. He has named his political party Reconquête — Reconquest. How could he possibly be more offensive? Their standard description of him is “the far-right French television personality Eric Zemmour”. They love to track down all the politically incorrect things he has said and clutch their pearls about his “racism”, especially when he talks about Islam, and says negative things about culture-enrichers. They don’t seem to understand that it is his willingness to say such things forthrightly in public that makes him so wildly popular. Not even Marine Le Pen is willing to push the envelope as far as he does.
It includes 8 minutes of his speech of last week-end.

4. We've been keeping an eye on EZ the TV personality - there's the first red flag right there. Tough on immigration gets a tick but silent on the current segregation of pure bloods from sleevers - second red flag. He was in London recently begging for money from ex-pats. Nathalie our twitter girl attended and said she was so disappointed with him not taking questions from the audience on the "health" situation which is a pressing issue over here. He left her unimpressed. I think he is an insert to split M LeP voters. Not that she has done anything notable - one trip pony, imo.

DeleteDoubt it. He'll split the "far right" vote - EZ, Florian Philippot (iirc) and MLeP. Some think that will see Macron into the next round if that happens. Who knows? Macron got in with the smallest voter turnout since the 60s last time again, iirc. Doesn't help trying to keep up when the various parties decide to rename themselves. A cunning ploy!
