11.  Important

10.  This gal is the goods

Amused by MTG's face on the Tucker show.  I've been advised by certain people over there not to trust Tucker Carlson but MTG has yet to go wonky on anything and her constituents seem to appreciate it. I'm a fan for sure.

8.  What a sweetie Jenna is

Jenna Ellis@JennaEllisEsq

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT coming tomorrow morning on the effort for election integrity in America!  Did you really think we weren’t working on this?

Jenna and Rumble - why do you insist on heavy capitalisation of words?  Do you think it impresses us more to PRINT SOMETHING IN LARGE LETTERS?  I've had to go through all the rumble offerings and decapitalise them because we're not a hysterical lot at this site.

Consider this quote from long ago:

We believe a scientist because he can substantiate his remarks, not because he is eloquent and forcible in his enunciation.  In fact, we distrust him when he seems to be influencing us because of his manner.

  1. When I was a young typographer it was taught not to use capitals or bold type too much, if at all. It's like we are shouting at the reader. We might be angry here but we aren't shouty types.

Ooh, and thanks for the dendelion Wine recipe. I used to make a gorgeous orange wine using discarded oranges from the local market. It was as good as Cointreau! Very little got inside the bottles before it got inside me.

  2. THE FIRST FEW WORDS capitalized was often used as the "lead-in" to content, serving as an anchor point for the reader to begin reading.
It's the only legit usage of all-caps in typography, in my opinion; nowadays bullet points are more common.
