Still Monday

5. Sturgeon

Effie:

Unfortunately, Sturgeon did not shred this document:

It is clear from this that the Scottish Government’s own lawyers thought that there might be evidence of Salmond’s conspiracy theory. What can adding fuel to the fire in this context mean other than that Salmond would believe his conspiracy theory more likely to be true by the email chain and that he would believe it because the email amounted to evidence.

Chris Rose:

Since Nicola Sturgeon’s memory is so poor all of a sudden we should stop calling for her to resign & instead thank her for resigning last week. Quickest way to remove her from her post.

4.  Sparkle - a selection of choice comment from the net

Richard Grenell:

Meghan Markle is the classic American woke progressive. She doesn’t want to do the work but is outraged she doesn’t get the freebies.

Effie Deans:

Prince William was right to warn his brother about marrying Meghan Markle.

Emily Zanotti:

I understand now why Meghan’s acting career never took off.

Tom Selby:

Megan claimed her passport & keys were taken off her when she joined the Royal Family. USA you are being played big style by H & M. An example one of their grotesque untruths ... Megan's two day New York baby shower in Feb 2019.

Toad Unmasked:

Meghan and Harry basically only had one card to play, and they've played it now. The ripples will steadily diminish over time.

Tara Carter:

Imagine ending up so bitter and vindictive and brimming with barely suppressed hate simply because you're not up to doing a job. Quite sad really.

Man in a Shed:

Who was the last child of a younger sibling in the Royal Family to have the title Prince? #AskingForAFriend

Kirstie Allsopp:

In 1961 the only sister of The Queen had a son, David, when born he was 5th in line to the throne, he’s not a Prince. Almost 60 years later, when the Royal Family is trying to downsize & modernise, it seems unlikely that the 7th in line would be a Prince, but maybe it’s racism.

A Liberty Rebel:

So UK taxpayers coughed up £30m for what was in fact a fake wedding? [On the Telegraph article] When do we get it back? If true, that makes them either frauds (with Welby colluding in it), or liars (don't you need witnesses for it to be legal?)

David Moore:

That Harry and Meghan looked around them and saw millions of people who’d lost jobs and livelihoods and then looked at home at Prince Philip’s serious illness and yet still thought they were the ones who were hard done by tells you everything.  My truth is that they’re tossers.

Not well liked, Harry Hewitt and Sparkle - leftwing and RINO America, you're welcome to your beloved pair. There are many Americans of a conservative bent though who do not accept them one little bit, in fact many did not even know of her before the media got into them.

Sackers on the issue.

  1. I imagine the Windsors have good intelligence on the genetic makeup of all the Royal family. I wonder what the nuclear option might be?

    Just a reminder..

'Chauvin, who has been released on $1 million bond, is charged with second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The three other former officers involved in the fatal May 25, 2020 arrest — J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao — are charged with aiding and abetting and will face trial together on Aug. 23. All four officers have been fired.

In order to convict Chauvin of second-degree murder, prosecutors will need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Chauvin caused Floyd’s death while committing or attempting to commit a related felony, in this case third-degree assault. Prosecutors do not need to prove that Chauvin intended to cause Floyd’s death.

In order to convict Chauvin of second-degree manslaughter, prosecutors will need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Chauvin caused Floyd’s death by “culpable negligence,” meaning he created unreasonable risk and consciously took a chance of causing death or serious harm. Since police officers are authorized to use force, prosecutors must prove that the force Chauvin used against Floyd was unlawful.'

The problem with the case is that Floyd likely died of a drug overdose - a medical examiner confirmed Floyd had ingested a more than fatal amount of fentanyl.
