How's your chemistry? Common names for these please:
Remember - common names, not proper names of substances.
Sulphuric acid #1Hydrogen Cyanide #2Sodium Chloride #4So says DR.
We need he common name, DR. We don’t pass the sodium chloride. N2 is good but how about Pr A.
We do in our house. :p
Going back many moons to my days at university chem classes we have:1) Sulphuric acid2) Hydrogen cyanide3) Sucrose4) Sodium chloride (salt)5) Glucose ??6) Ozone (something the greens get in a lather about)7) Sodium hypochlorite
1) Sulphuric acid2) Hydrogen cyanide [Prussic Acid]3) Sucrose4) Sodium chloride (salt)5) Glucose ?? [Fructose]6) Ozone (something the greens get in a lather about)7) Sodium hypochlorite [Bleach]Well done, both. Prize is an evening with the girl who drove off with the pump hose hanging out of her petrol opening.
Prize sounds like a euphemism. Ooh, err, mrs.But exactly what for by naive mind cannot fathom.
Take it up and discover the delights.
I'm trying to remember a rhyme that ended"Cos what she though was H2O was H2SO4
2 chemists walk into a bar. One says I'll have a H2O, the other says I'll have a H2O too. He's dead.
JohnMThe one I (think that I) can remember is....Thirsty Willie drank his fillBut soon lay senseless on the floorFor what he'd thought was H2OWas H2SO4.Anther from my youth of many, many moons ago is...Here lies the body of Emily WrightWho put out her left hand and turned to the right.
Alas Little Freddy is no moreFor what he thought was H2O, was H2SO4
Comments need a moniker of your choosing before or after ... no moniker, not posted, sorry.
