Policy on using "Anonymous"
If you choose to use "Anonymous" or "Unknown" as your mode of commenting on this Blogger blog, then you need to include in the comment a "consistent" moniker each comment [not chopped and changed around] which is your self-identification.
It's solely for readers to know whom to address.
It can be anything which could be used in polite company. It's not in any way for the benefit of Google whom, you'd be aware, have their own way of identifying, not shared with me.
The effect on comments is unfortunate because many would-be commenters would tell google to take a running jump or words to that effect but that's where we are from January to April, 2021. Also offputting to some is the way the comments gadget is placed in the sidebar but this blog has always done that as a tool for readers to use. The whole point is that readers are very much part of the editorial board at this blog and valuable links are often reloaded into posts later.
The political position of this blog
It is NOT neutral, no way.
As the Wokeness consumes everything in its path out there - in politics, business, law, medicine, education, in every facet in life - this is a Deplorable reaction to that, a pushback of sanity, ethics and a calling out of the crims and sheeple they control, of the sheer insanity of it all. So let's be clear about that - this is NOT a neutral blog, it is populist, it is pro-people, pro-life.
As such, it is going to shut out Wokery, personal hostility or anything in the nature of the sort of trolling which blights comments threads the world over. You may not like that but there it is. The authority deferred to is classical liberalism [old definition of the words before the hijacking], which holds that anything goes until it clearly damages or harms.
It's an attempt, this blog, to be one of the few anti-Woke outlets still alive.
Books and novels
Apart from four not particularly great short stories [about to be rewritten], there is the long book called Masquerade and then there is this thing I call Novellas, for want of a better term. The first, called Trust, pretty much moves on from Masquerade but still shares the motif of the ragtag on the run from the sledgehammer state. It's completed, not bad if I do say so missel', but one thing it brought out by accident was a new character who could easily become a far more modest Gal Gadot or Angelina Jolie.
Not particularly femme-fatale, a scrawny piece, she does what she can and the huge difference from those other two is she is a trad gal, with trad values. These have not come out yet on the second novella underway right now but they will.
This second novella - currently called Doubt but that could change - brings the plot right up to date. It covers Event 201, the whole covid farce, its politicisation, how it turned the western world on its head, but always it focuses on people affected by it, not by the events themselves. Plot possibilities are marvellous - I mean, just think of crims wandering around at night in masks - ruins the whole lip-reading thing, hides halitosis - society is turning into a population of ninjas. Wonder if the PTB have actually thought this one through. Hmmmmm, the novelists have.
So that's going on right at this moment, the novella called Doubt and as it is redacted in situ as it goes, it can be followed on the front page at Novellas.

ReplyDeleteAlthough the occasional and regular troll can be ammusing a surfiet of trolls and those commenters who come on to chat to their mates or try to be first commenter are a pain in the arsse.
