ReplyDeleteI have read the same truism about ambitious monkeys climbing the corporate tree. i am fortunate that for much of my working life the people above me, a large proportion of them, were not like that and using those allies above me I could avoid the shits.
Such objectionables were not good for company morale, company profits or good customer relations. But they loved procedures and sucked up to their kin in other companies.
