5. Nick Adams on that vote

Five “Republican” Senators voted with the Democrat Senators to uphold the constitutionality of the impeachment trial.

  • Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT)
  • Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE)
  • Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA)
  • Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
  • Senator Susan Collins (R-ME)

England’s much-hyped £2bn green homes grant is in chaos, renewable energy installers say, with some owed tens of thousands of pounds and struggling to stay in business, reports The Guardian (via The GWPF).

Republican states need to start fighting back against this Federal take over of every aspect of our lives. Stop worrying about federal money states receive and start worrying about our future!

It does look as if it's heading this way - fine for the States but what of over here?  How many in Scotland want it the home of fecklessness and penury once the Barnett and Midlothian are well and truly over? Will the Scots then love Govan Gal?

2.  They do not have a legitimate case

They still refuse to publish numbers that make sense...

  1. How many died today?
  2. What age were they?
  3. What underlying conditions did they have?
  4. How many died on this day last year & every year going back for years?
  5. And so on every day ad infinitum...

It looks like the EU’s latest actions with AstraZeneca are so indefensible, that the British press are forced into actually criticising the EU for change. Remarkable.

  1. If Wee Jimmy gets her way then the bits remote from the Central Belt will agitating for separation. They are the bits that make the money. The Central clique just spend it. Some might want to stay linked to UK, others might feel their Scandinavian roots.

    1. Boris should hold a referendum. The question: "Do you want your constituency [name of constituency] to secede from the United Kingdom?"

So bits of the Glasgow conurbation and Dundee will vote "yes" and the rest, in all probability, "no". So we end up with Scotland remaining part of the UK and the Republic of Alba becoming a satrapy of Bruxelles. Fairy nuff.

"How many died today?" How could anyone know part way through the morning?
