[integrity] arnie would never go opportunistic

This is so unfair to Arnie, who would never ever cut a deal or do anything remotely ambitious:

But instead, when asked, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger seemed to suggest he would have no qualms about joining an administration run bysomeone called Barack Obama -- who, if memory serves, is the Democrat actuallyopposing the Republican man the Republican Schwarzenegger endorsed for president.
Nah - it's just another blogger speculating.

Isn't it?

  1. Well A is surrounded by all those democrats in the family! It has always struck me as rather strange that he is a "republican".
I would hope that since A has no more experience than BO himself, BO would be looking for more experienced people to give him some credibility.

Governor of California, what shall I do next? President of course. But no wait, I am not born in the USA. Have to get that little restriction out of the way first. Hmm, who is most likely to bring that about?

  2. Arnold has shown himself to care very little for party lines...his work on greening California's environment and implementing tough air quality standards and carbon emissions has shown that.

Which is why Obama might be interested in him as Energy Secretary.

As a native Californian, I can say that we have not had such a good governor since Pat Brown in the 60s.
