Intel unveiled its latest Haifa innovation on Tuesday as the world's largest chip maker, with the launch of its first quad-core microprocessor … Whereas the dual-core technology launched last year uses two microprocessors to perform tasks at the same time, quad-core doubles the equation, thus further increasing computer processing speeds and energy savings.
