21.  That apocalyptic glow again

It must be getting on for a couple of months now since I reported one evening, around this time, 9 p.m., of a combination of low-hanging dark cloud, angry clouds, but at the same time, a burst of sun had got through and it was at just that angle and at that intensity that the brick walls around here glowed like some sort of post-holocaust scene.

I seem to recall it was quite foreboding … well we have that here this evening again … the glow under the dark ceiling quite fierce … and it has me thinking of my past life, not a great thing to do in my case … so I stopped and wrote this instead. Very still out there. Doonhamer just wrote, so immediately I thought of Frazer: “We’re doomed, I tell ye … doomed!”

Ha ha. The glow’s disappeared now.
