... whilst I do more with the Spencer Davis song ... keeping the song the same to make the comparisons more valid.  I have a big problem with the blacks in that I completely agree with St George's City breaking away because I don't want to live anywhere near the Letitia James, Fani Willises, let alone our appalling ones over here, e.g. Lammy, the one with the ankle bracelet etc. etc. ...

... and while that's true, I equally have to admire blacks their athletic prowess, their sense of soul, of rhythm, their intelligent analyses ... Thomas Sowell was no accident. Were the black community to ditch the communist victimhood shtick and just live as citizens, all would be well. 

Here there are two analyses of the same song ... one by our white Florida college boys ... and the other by a black couple (my first with them) ... from an American perspective of course. Let's go.

My reaction to the reactions ... first one par for the course, a bit over-intellectualising it, with jargon ... typical western boys.  Second one ... have to say it was interesting ... admired them, also loved her reference to British tea with crumpets.  The cross-cultural, historical things I find fascinating.

Also ... doesn't take much to get a girl groovin', does it?
