In a call and response, the caller says: "Xristos voskrese," meaning "Christ is risen," which elicits a response from the gathered in this manner:

Usage notes: This is only the first part of the greeting. The reply from the other person or persons completes the greeting. 

For the reply, see Вои́стину воскре́с (Voístinu voskrés). Also: Христо́с воскре́се! / Вои́стину воскре́се! (the version with -е is in Church Slavonic, whereas the one without -е is in modern Russian; both are widely used)
