Ultramarine

On one level, it’s interesting and can be put up with for 8 mins but on another level …

… uggghhh! This is the one shade of blue, otherwise known as royal blue, I’ve spent my entire life fighting … it clashes, it jars with some harmony inside the soul … don’t know why but it’s loud and pretentious … looks cheap.

Awful!

What shade of blue does NOT clash, I hear you not asking … mainly as I’ve not posted this at this point of writing.  Well let me show you my humble shade:

… or even the colour of my gym tiles:

To even call it “marine”, let alone “ultra”, let alone pay any money whatever for THAT in the video … aaaggghhh!

Well, nuff said I think. I suppose it’s the same situation with this garish red below, as in “modern” Britain, in British cars versus the burgundy and maroon shades used in the subheadings at N.O.

Downunder, by the way, there’s a football team from about 1856, just a few years back, from Melbourne town, called … er … Melbourne:

… and it bestrode their football world in the 50s it seems, winning six premierships, at which point some bright spark thought it looked more “colourful” to change from aggressive navy to this royal blue (video plus below) … they did not win another premiership for decades.

Interestingly, someone decided to go back to the far more manly navy, plus a darker shade of red … success returned, inc., eventually, a premiership. Yet even here, the forces of evil are at work … even in this logo above, plus below … someone … some nincompoop … has decided to “soften” the red to make it all more “colourful” … aaaggghhh.

Why do you think they’ve not won a premiership since?  Why do you think the table has the Cats on top just now?  Men need manly colours. Even now I noticed this in their sidebar:

I mean, see what someone’s done? I suspect it’s a female lefty or wimpy lefty man, the corporate type who controls everything now.  Look at the way they try to stand tough, those two clowns … wot, in those wimpy colours? Compare to the proper colour navy on the right.
