Why have we been so complacent about China for so long? The Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament’s report on China is more far more robust on the threat posed to the UK than Dowden’s mewings this week. The Chinese State wants the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to remain in power indefinitely and for the country to become the dominant global technological and economic superpower, on which we will be increasingly reliant. And to these ends, it maintains the largest state intelligence apparatus in the world.

Behind the headlines of the last weeks, the sickness that is our obdurately unaccountable government persisted. All of us who'd signed Alex Hicks's petition for a review of TCW's favourite regulatory body, the MHRA, received a ‘no, we're not going to' response from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHCS) in our email boxes.  As one TCW correspondent wrote, 'the lies started in the first line' with the statement that 'patient safety is the MHRA's highest priority'. Lying of course is the ultimate sickness.

Although 'you cannot argue against the temporal association between [the vaccine rollout and America's spike in medical issues]' as Pierre Kory summed it up in his recent Tucker Carlson interview, or that ‘the time of that vaccination rollout is when all the numbers started going sideways, excess mortality started to skyrocket, disability claims started to skyrocket’, the Department of Health and MRHA don't even bother to. That's the problem: they ignore it all and will carry on this way unless people sign in real numbers – you can do so here because the petition still has six months to run.
