Baltimore port worker claims the Dali cargo ship had a "severe electrical problem" just days before it crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge. Container Royalty co-administrator Julie Mitchell said the ship was having issues 48 hours before the crash.

"Those two days, they were having serious power outages… they had a severe electrical problem. It was total power failure, loss of engine power, everything," she said. (CNN)

Mitchell claims the refrigerated containers tripped breakers on the ship multiple times and mechanics tried fixing the issue. Mitchell said that power problems are rare on cargo ships like the Dali and that it should never have left the port until the issue was fixed.

An officer on the Dali says the ship went "dead" and everything went dark. "The vessel went dead, no steering power and no electronics... The smell of burned fuel was everywhere in the engine room and it was pitch black," they said.

Which part leaps out at you in that account? For me, CNN leaps out = falsehood, opposite of truth or spinning a truth to advantage. What those connected with CNN, globopsycho et al would wish is "pre-existing ailment" ... that it was an "accident" waiting to happen.

That's what I mean by spinning a truth to advantage. Not only would I say there were pre-existings but that it was known by port authorities, pilots, city admins etc. and a blind eye was turned. Why? Trade was bringing money to certain coffers, be it govt rake off or rich donors ... it really doesn't matter, nor does this bit stretch any credulity.

Nor does the collapse halting shipping nor Biden leaping on federal funding as if it was Hurricane Katrina, whilst ignoring the Ohio River, Maui et al ... none of that stretches credulity.

The most difficult bit, given the sudden change of course directly into the pylon and the extent of the damage over half a mile was that no one was aware ... no one in charge I mean. It's the same old same old ... rank incompetence versus malevolent "hands off" and let it happen versus "orchestrated" ... or a combination of the three.  Same with Katrina, Ohio, Maui, 911 and so on and so on.

The time worn and efficacious strategy.

  1. Re the StJohnAmbulance thingy. I have dirt on them from sources I'm keeping private for personal reasons. It is rife with trans, gays and morbidly obese. I'd be extremely concerned about requiring assistance from any one from StJA.

    3. If Biden hadn't promised to pay for the bridge, the insurance company would have had to pay it. The insurance company would have to do an investigation first. Perhaps Biden didn't want there to be an investigation. Why might that be?
