The second bank holiday in the month of May exists because it used to be held on the day-off in the Christian calendar after Whit Sunday or Pentecost. Whit Sunday always falls seven Sundays past Easter Sunday. Since 1971 however, this bank holiday has always been held on the last Monday of the month.
Chas Day of course made it three this May.

19. The enigma of The Expose
It explains much, knowing that the person behind the Expose content is one Rhoda Wilson, presumably this one:
If it is her, then she’s a mixed bag. Her detractors can gainsay all they like with the “no shred of proof” line, themselves offering no shred of proof that she’s offering no shred of proof … typical troll strategy.
But she does offer shreds of proof, e.g. Fizzer’s own documents, and various other substantiations.
The unfortunate part is that she’s the breathless type in the whistleblower mould, going for the high drama and loaded language, as if her target audience were gullible normies alone. The promise in the headline though is not solely clickbait … way down the page she finally puts some good points about transmission from vaxxed to unvaxxed.
Good points but hardly earth shattering nor high drama. Her trolls speak of her just scouring the internet to play the fearmonger … that’s partly so … she or whoever is behind her definitely want the shekels clattering in … but against that … why not, say I? She’s doing the type of thing we are, more opaquely and with high drama.
And the repetition! Every post has key points repeated over and over, until finally she gives. As journalism goes, she makes a not bad researcher. Anyway, that’s coming up tomorrow morning.

Put one in your mouth and lodge it between your lip and the tooth if you can and leave it there to gradually dissolve. I once had something dire wrong with my tooth - it hurt, the gum hurt, my whole jaw and my neck hurt - and that night I put salt in beside that tooth. By morning pain was gone and whatever it was had healed up.

ReplyDeleteKant Explain : sharing two apples between 3 with one stroke of the knife? A bit gruesome, but cutting off one of their heads would leave one apple each for the remaining two.

ReplyDeleteLine them up and cut one third off each apple in one stroke. Each then gets two thirds.
Except they won't be equal because the apples will be slightly different and the apples themselves are not homogenous.
