Well now there’s an accompanying picture from DAD from his local news:

(And then what are they going to do? Anything?)

b.  "BALTOPS 22"

"BALTIC SEA — A significant focus of BALTOPS every year is the demonstration of NATO mine hunting capabilities, and this year the U.S. Navy continues to use the exercise as an opportunity to test emerging technology, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa Public Affairs said June 14.

In support of BALTOPS, U.S. Navy 6th Fleet partnered with U.S. Navy research and warfare centers to bring the latest advancements in unmanned underwater vehicle mine hunting technology to the Baltic Sea to demonstrate the vehicle’s effectiveness in operational scenarios.

Experimentation was conducted off the coast of Bornholm, Denmark, with participants from Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, and Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring all under the direction of U.S. 6th Fleet Task Force 68. ........."

c.  Yep. The okey-kokey gubermint :)

"The British government has dropped plans to cut income tax for top earners, part of a package of unfunded cuts that sparked turmoil on financial markets and sent the pound to record lows.

In a dramatic about-face, Treasury chief Kwasi Kwarteng said Monday that he would abandon plans to scrap the top 45% rate of income tax paid on earnings above 150,000 pounds ($167,000) a year.

“We get it, and we have listened,” he said in a statement. He said “it is clear that the abolition of the 45p tax rate has become a distraction from our overriding mission to tackle the challenges facing our country.”

10.  Ian J

While I probably agree with Ian here:

I can't believe the sheer effrontery of these US neocons: First they arrange the bombing of the Nordstream pipeline, which is likely to trash european economies, then they ask/expect us to give more money to one of the most corrupt countries on earth!

https://www.rt.com/news/563919-us-eu-more-aid-ukraine/

… I’m duty bound to put up a counterclaim which was late night, have forgotten the site but it mentions Lawdog.  Long ago, we had his opinion on … again can’t remember … think it was Tommy Robinson or Trump or someone unpopular with globo/remainers … yet his argument over the Nordstream does make some sense.

He was going the Russian neglect route and therefore corrosion caused the massive blowout. There … er … were those pictures of rusting Russian naval vessels and planes … the Russians do have form in this area.

And just as with the sientifik sounding, glossy, money backed articles on WTC7 and how it burnt down, it’s easy to dazzle with Settled Science.  So I’d still go with Ian here but with caution.

  1. #15. It is important to differentiate the USA ,as the ruling elite, and the USA as a people. I know from personal experience and also from reading blogs that the "people" are just like us and generally are decent, do not want other nations trashed and certainly do not want their own nation reduced to Third World penury.

    1. Most ordinary people are like that, whether the USA, Europe, Russia or China. It's the power broker games, bankers and politicians using their MSM propaganda that create division and totally fuck up peaceful relations between countries,

  2. Nothing elite about the ruling classes. It is important though to apportion blame in the correct way. Every country has its deep state wef-ing enemy class.

    1. Possible maybe, but two separate pipelines? one only a few months old, too far apart for localised sea conditions, and for me the clincher, both in the area of US navy exercises in the very recent past, and both under close supervision for terrorists.

    2. There's a few reasons I don't buy into Lawdog's theory.

1 - Multiple methane plugs splitting two pipelines at the same time? I don't think so. Perhaps weeks apart, but not in that time scale.

2 - Three explosions detected. That's explosions of the 100kg TNT kind that measured high on the Richter scale, not the bursting of a pipe. It would still register but the timeline would be longer.

3 - US Naval vessels recorded as being in the area at around the time of the explosions. Coincidentally the US had been training the Ukies on the use of underwater drones.

4 - Suddenly, Blinken thinks its a good idea for Nordstream to be inoperative, it leaves Europe as the US biggest customer for LNG.

5 - What were the chances of this happening within a day of the opening of the Polish/Finnish pipeline?

6 - Just too many "coincidences", like Biden's earlier promise to shut it down, NATO moving the command centre from Kiev to Germany etc. The yanks did it, or at the very least were the masterminds and controllers. Look at it from whatever angle you like, all roads lead back to the USA.

    3. It does look that way. Also, Lawdog has form.

    4. Royal Navy was training the Ukrankies in the recent past too. June 2022 if I recall correctly. I left a link outlining the same the other day.

  4. The US politicians are not pushing us. They are doing it to themselves. We are just following like the sheep we are. That is why all these countries are pulling away and setting us their own bloc.

  5. Changing the tax rate for higher payers is a socialist tactic. So it bodes poorly for a supposedly conservative government. So much for Truss.
