Kant Explain : Wenceslas Day in rainy Prague and another demonstration against NATO and the EU. Crowd only about half as large as last month's. The police presence was minimal except for the counter-demonstration of about 20 grinning people in front of the National Museum with their Ukraine flag and anti-Putin banner. They were well guarded by a squadron of riot police. I was surprised by the restraint of the crowd following NATO's stunt yesterday blowing up the gas pipelines. If there was ever a time for burning the Stars and Stripes, surely it is now. Perhaps information is not getting through, or perhaps government propaganda is too powerful, but I cannot fathom how anyone in their right mind is not horrified by the behaviour of the USA and Ukraine in particular and the Western world in general.
