We could well be on the eve of war right now, a quite different war against the true enemy at last [a myriad posts passim] and suddenly, into my recommended from YT, a Memphis Tennessee girl doing a reaction video to an American WWII propaganda film about Britain. Not only that but soooo pro-Britain. Like gosh.
The girl, being a kid, is trying to make sense of it. The things she accepts from a 1941 film - that free speech still exists, that govt loves us - weeelllll I'm not going to make too much of that, nor things about the unions. Seems to me we should just watch it for what it is - one gal on Jan 12, 2022, two nations, as they once were. More than two nations.
What I get out of this, esp. in the section showing the nazis trying to divide and rule us all ... is that not soooo 2022?
