Yes, for all his bluster and clownishness Boris is being considerably less authoritarian over Covid than many of his contemporaries, a replacement could be worse so we must beware what we wish for. It's so sad that he is such an idiot over so many other issues and has failed to sort out brexit, still clings to HS2, can't sort the channel immigration and is utterly obsessed with net zero. (I read today that the Czech government have also cancelled their intended Covid passports and Israel have found a 4th dose doesn't do any good. It's unravelling fast)
