That 'Peter Gunne' theme is part of the great Freddy King instrumental 'Hideaway'. I sat in with a cat who used to play with Freddy. I was the only white person in the bar. He thought he would trip me up, with playing 'Hideaway'. I told him to hold the Peter Gunne part until I gave him a heads up. He'd never thought of doing the sax part on guitar. He thought he'd be rid of this white boy easy, ended up keeping me onstage all night. I didn't pay for a drink the whole time. I'd literally walked in, with another mile to walk to get home. He gave me a ride home in his Cadillac.
