All right, Vox is not wrong about Boomers - but though maturity-retarded, still exploring the world way past the settle-down date, we did though have the huge advantage of a good education which stopped around 1970.  For educational profession reasons, I can pinpoint the downturn to 1971 when open plan started taking the world and the ludicrous 'child-centred' education which, like equality and diversity, was anything but what it said on the box.

So yes, Vox.  Now let's turn the spotlight on you Gen X malcontents, born maybe 1959 to about 1969, even 1974.  Let's have a good hard look at you, eh, and see how you fare?

This ties in directly with the Max Headroom thread I've been labouring and there's no way it's just America, let's get that sorted right now.  I chose America first because it's so visible, American angst produces so many youtubes of national anxiety.  I could equally have started on Brits, Scots, the English, we've already done the Australians and NZers.

Let's get real and acknowledge that this is the west we're speaking of here and a deep sickness inside it, otherwise known as world culture, those embracing it utterly incapable of functioning as a viable society any more, except for us remnants but even among us the malaise runs deep ... and we're fewer and fewer.

Paraphrasing GK Chesterton, he essentially said that when Man ceases his connection with his Maker, when he stops believing in that, he does not believe in nothing, he'll start believing in anything.  Whether the Great God Big Science, whether all the Philosophers grappling with who Man is and where he's going, they're all on a loser's mission because they've shed themselves of their own prime defence.

That's at the core of the Lew Rockwell message.  Because in the space vacated by God, is there a big nothing?  Not at all - the opposite pours in, the sickness of the soul - look at the music videos, gaming, films, all of it today.  

Is that the stuff strong civilisations are built on?

And no, I'm not going any further because I do not want a fanat-ocracy of any kind.  What we had while things were still functioning and children were still protected, with a father and mother setting the pattern, was no way a model society - humans are flawed - but it did work sort of and the enemy now pouring in would not have made it past first base.  A hostile environment for sickos it was.  Now it's open slather.

The crisis today is a crisis of the spirit, of the soul, whence come ethics, fair-dealing, integrity.  Whichever way you slice it - whether Yuri Bezmenov's Russians or the current Chinese communists, it still comes down to those two things - the malaise inside society, plus the malaise inside the person.

Yes, we surely need a Great Reset, but not that of the enemy which Johnson is pushing and Biden is the embodiment of - nor do we need a far-right, corrupt theocracy of centuries ago.  We need a reset to the middle, slightly to the right.
