Earlier this year, I described how the normally harmless nose bacterium Streptococcus pneumonia becomes infectious when it battles against another species called Haemophilius influenzae. This competitor summons white blood cells to do away with Streptococcus, which can defend itself by producing a thicker coat. But this armour also allows Streptococcus to evade our own immune system, resulting in pneumonia, meningitis and other diseases. As I wrote back then, “many human diseases really have nothing to do with us at all.”

Or to use Scudder’s analogy in The Thirty-Nine Steps, not the von Someone, the frontman, but who’s the ratfaced one at the end of the corridor? But a different analogy negates that somewhat, as Hannay says.
Look upwards till the end of the chain of command? In Bourne, was that Noah Voson? Someone above him? In Britain, does it ring a Bell? Is it someone even higher than him? Is Mulgan just a gofer or someone higher? Who started the Bilderberg?
Or to use the analogy of All The President’s Men and Deep Throat Mark Felt to Woodward … follow the money. Who is the final source of the money? The trillions? Where are they from, those trillions? From drugs, trafficking, paedo, legit businesses, what generated that amount of cash? Is it the ancient families themselves? Where are they? In the Alps? In high castles?
Does the colour coding give a clue? Mr. Green and Mr. White in the Bond films? Mr. Brown of the tribe of Dan with his Da Vinci Code? Saruman’s white robes which are actually many colours? Who controlled Saruman? If he said not Sauron, then who turned him bad? Who was the influence, never stated?
By the way, from what ethnic group or nation are David St*******n (the villainous Noah Voson), and S**** Glenn (equally bad CIA director Ezra Kramer)? Just a bit of fun. Another fun question - which actor narrated a biographical video to introduce Barry Soetoro before his acceptance speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention? Hint: David St*******n.

"Thoughts?" Bacteriology seems to be a much more advanced science than virology - that's been one of the big lessons of the pandemic for me.
ReplyDeleteThat epidemiology proved to be largely crap was no surprise - having spent years on mathematical modelling I already knew that much work that purported to be in that area was rubbish. I admit, though, I was taken aback by the number of levels at which the Imperial College modelling was rubbish. Turtles all the way down.
