9.  Guillain-Barre Syndrome via DR

"Four British men have developed a crippling disease days after having the AstraZeneca jab, scientists revealed.

Guillain-Barre Syndrome is a potentially life-threatening condition in which the body's immune system breaks down.

The patients, all men, were struck down in Nottingham where around 700,000 people received the vaccine."

"The complication — normally triggered by an infection — usually occurs in around one in 100,000 people in the UK and US.

What is Guillain-Barré syndrome?

Guillain–BarrĂ© syndrome is a rare disorder in which the immune system goes into overdrive and the body attack its own nerves.

Common symptoms of the rare condition include weakness and tingling in the limbs.

As patients' conditions worsen, this can lead to parts of the body — or in some cases the whole body — being paralysed.

The syndrome is rare, affecting about one in 100,000 annually in the UK and US.

Fewer than 20,000 cases are diagnosed per year in the US, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Doctors say it is often triggered by a viral or bacterial illness, such as Campylobacter jejuni.

There is no cure. Treatment focuses on restoring the nervous system.

It can be fatal if it involves the respiratory muscles.

But doctors in India who also uncovered the link say it was occurring up to 10 times more than expected.

One of the articles published in the journal broke down the cases spotted in Nottingham, which all occurred within ten days of each other.

Symptoms began 11 to 22 days after the first jab and all of the four men were aged between 20 and 57."

Happening in Australia too.

8.  ATMs in Europe

Obviously this does not apply to the Locked Down UK unless we’re pollies or fellow troughers but if on the Continent, here’s some advice:

'When I were a lad there were air raid sirens on the housing estate. They were removed some time in the early 1970s.'

There was one in the grounds of the water company (founded 1828) behind our house - top of a tower and adjacent to an old air-raid shelter that served the staff there during the war. They tested it the first Monday of every month until 1973.

  9. Although my colleagues and I heard about Orgreave, and had our own views about those SYP officers we came into contact with, we spent most of our time at Ollerton. One thong that annoyed us was the lack of media cover on things that were mot confrontational. Despite being invited, there wad no media coverage of the charity football match between the Police and striking miners to raise funds for medical treatment of a miner's ill son. There was he mention of the Police officers giving their packed lunches for the miners to take home for their families. There was even humour when the striking miners were told they would he arrested if they used threats against those miners wanting to work, so "You cads", "You bounders", and even "Mountebanks" were heard. If there was a punch-up, the press were there. Social interaction and the press, there were none. I'm still in touch with some of miners who came out on strike.
