Robert Allen Zimmerman

Never really liked him as a person, too many pratty things, full of himself ... and yet many of his songs were superb ... not as meaningless in the lyrics as once thought.  Of course - which three of his vast repertoire?

Well, if the covers are just as famous if not more - then not those.  If too overtly wailing or an opus magnum like a rolling stone - not those either.  This choice is always going to be controversial but then again - so is Bob Dylan.

Again, there are no visuals of note, so the songs are loaded this way.  Hope you remember and enjoy.

Think I prefer the raconteur style of song he writes ... each to his or her own.

Sorry to intrude in James but a hard rain's gonna fall on someone, soon..

'The latest word is that the Maricopa Board of Supervisors refuse to let the audit take place on the premises where the ballots are currently located. They claim the subpoena does not state that the audit will take place at their premises. What a bunch of lying feckless weasels. First, the taxpayers own the building. Second, the audit is funded by the taxpayers. Third, doing the audit at the present location protects the chain of custody. Fourth, removing the ballots offsite gives the board plausible deniability in the event ballots have gone missing. They can conveniently say, "well, they were all here. I don't know why you don't have all of them." Fifth, it is customary practice when fighting over disclosure and subpoenaed items to make said items available at their physical location when it is impracticable to do so otherwise. 2.1 million ballots and the machines are in one spot. Why cost the AZ taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars to transport? Delay, delay, delay. This is what happens when politicians handle things. The remedy is simple. Arizona legislators - get the presiding judge on the phone now. Get the matter on the record now. Demand access pursuant to the court's order now. Ask the judge to hold the Board of Supervisors in contempt if they do not open the doors now. I ask all here to contact the Arizona legislators to get the judge to exercise control over the Maricopa BOS. This is an embarrassment to the court. If you know the judge, start mentioning his name. It's great when a judge responds after his name is posted all over the internet. We the People decide what happens with our votes. Not the other way around.'

    Oh dear:

'Derek Chauvin's defense counsel Eric Nelson introduces the concept of "camera perspective bias." Minneapolis Police Chief Arradondo agrees Chauvin's knee looks like it's on Floyd's neck in the bystander video, but appears to be on his "shoulder blade" in the body-cam video.'

  2. Dylan was a great songwriter, a poet of his age. His voice though... it grates on my ears. Also, he refused for years to perform in Britain until he relented and played at Blackbushe. It was a sodden field, the audience suffered. He was half way across the Atlantic before the first of his fans had extricated themselves from the mud.

His conversion to Christianity was questionable. I couldn't comment as I'm obviously biased.

I briefly had one of his albums, Nashville Skyline. Gave it away. Don't miss it.
