Rand Paul is but one example of a malaise

It's hardly the point whether Rand Paul is finally, long after the heist is done and dusted, coming out bellowing like a Josh Hawley - Josh Hawley started bellowing while he was at great risk of losing heavily by so doing - while the corrupt doings were at their height and everyone else had scurried for cover.

Anyone can jump on the bandwagon and call the impeachment unconstitutional once enough voices have said so. It's irrelevant about the first v second v third impeachment - where was his voice when DJT's branch of the govt was under severe stymying in so many ways?  Where was he organising within the GOP a front-on assault on the DemRats?

https://www.bizpacreview.com/2019/10/18/here-are-the-10-senate-rinos-who-voted-with-dems-to-end-trumps-border-funding-841010/

And there were so many other crucial moments where he went AWOL.  Trump was elected with the wall promise one of the major planks - why was Paul not supporting it instead of consorting with people like Romney?

Of course you can make a case that his job, as Senator, is solely to oversee house legislation  but is he not also an American supporting the three-branch govt and in a position to make his voice heard?

Now to this Bobb talking head at OANN, that channel at least having the decency to support the President - the specious argument that, long after the fix is in, long after the cover up is sealed, all possible evidence having now 'disappeared', you then come out and say, at this point - let's have an audit and if it finds that Biden did win fairly, then we would have to go along with that.

Whaaaaaa? What sort of cockamamy logic is that?

It's like Barr failing to act, saying he saw no evidence.  Of course he saw no bleedin' evidence - he was both being prevented from seeing it, plus he was looking the other way.

That's the issue.  Why this rampant corruption?

The answer is - lack of political will.  In thrall. Now to this cow:

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/01/26/nikki-haley-pleads-democrats-give-trump-break-telling-rnc-his-actions-will-be-judged-harshly-history/

What a snake.  She speaks of DJT's 'behaviour' in the last days. What behaviour?  Telling people to go home peacefully?  Yet she pushes that lie, then pretends to be magnanimous over this new 'impeachment'.

What a viper. What a RINO. As for the man supposedly conducting this farce:

@SenatorLeahy hospitalized after being sworn in to preside over Trump Impeachment Trial

Uh huh.

He "was not feeling well," a spokesperson said. "Out of an abundance of caution, the [attending physician] recommended that he be taken to a local hospital for observation."

Yes, wasn't it interesting how DJT was not 'feeling well' and went in for medical attention straight after his debate?  Wasn't it interesting how the Blonde Blancmange over here went in for medical attention in a similar way?

Some of us - meaning most readers here and myself - have zero problem seeing wrong where it occurs and calling it out and yes, we do have things to lose, we're not just armchair or keyboard warriors - you if you're personal details are doxxed and me just by sticking the head above the parapet, albeit at a modest level.  I for one can't receive phone calls unless it's a known-known these days.  So what?  It's what we do.

It's not what these cowards mentioned above do.

Except for Josh Hawley.

But the ultimate miscreants themselves get off scot free - the ordinary people who aid and abet, who continue to vote for these clowns.  Ordinary people are the ones ultimately enabling all this.

And psycho Hancock over here knows it full well. His whole case is shot, it's a house of cards, yet stupid people still buy this 'civic duty' to poison themselves and their families on the say-so of charlatans.

The chief wallaby presiding at the kangaroo court, for that is what it is, hospitalised eh? Was he struck by a lightening bolt?

His side will no doubt be hurriedly concocting excuses to cover his butt such as t'other side were intimidating him etc etc. He should be intimidated though, not by threats of bodily harm, but by the sheer numbers agin him and his dim and rino friends and where that will leave them in the future.

One hopes all the idiots pushing this farce are slowly realising how much they have goomed.

Lest we forget what Joe "I don't need your vote" Biden said:

  3. I try not to judge people like R. Paul too harshly because swimming in rough shark infested waters needs some evasive manouvers, but I increasinly tend to the opinion that they are simply frightened to speak out and take the sort of heat that Josh Hawley is getting. There are few lively patriots in Texas like this Kyle Biedermann who is pushing for leaving the union (fron G'way Pundit).
