Orwell says don't let it happen but as we've seen ... it has happened and half the people are brainwashed into going along with anything, no matter how demeaning. Just why they would do so has much to do with the media and 'entertainment'.
I wonder what goes through the mind of a leftist - let's take a random example of, say, a ChrINO who believes in all the Woke planks in the platform and who has uncanny ways of overcoming the cognitive dissonance. While we're in gloom and anger over it, she, like the village idiot, is perfectly happy because she thinks equality and diversity is a real thing to be embraced and lauded.
One can't deal with such people, there is no common ground, even on definitions and framing. Thus the type will aid and abet the very Orwellian future they supposedly helped expose in that interview. This is just how bizarre the whole thing is. The logic of a leftist is truly bizarre.
Were all people on the same page - that is, interpreting the enemy and events as they are in reality - it would still be touch and go if anything could be done against Thug Plod and the military. But they're not - just look at the kids who would turn in their parents for money or protection.
Wonder who'll be the first pollie taken out in London.
