The theme of the previous political post [before the boat post] was what is actually happening.  This one looks at why two groups do as they do.

Starting with the Z Man:

One thing that seems to be true of all civilizations that are in crisis is they have a period in which the laws are no longer respected by the people in power. It is not exactly a period of lawlessness, as in chaos. That certainly does happen when the crisis reaches the point when the official authority can no longer project power. Before that, there is a time when the people charged with enforcing the laws simply stop doing it on a consistent basis. The law becomes arbitrary and selective.

Part of it, for sure, is that the local politicians are taking some weird pleasure in seeing their cities destroyed. They would like to join in on the mayhem. That is obvious with the child mayor of Minneapolis. In other cases, the local politicians hate the police and refuse to let them do their jobs. Still, in many cases, the local government is paralyzed by fear and incompetence. In Atlanta, the police are in open revolt against the local authorities over the corruption of the law by the politicians.

At this point, time to diverge from this theme and move over to why the two groups are doing it.  One group are the cabalists, including the deep state, the pollies, the key CP grads in positions throughout the country and assorted evil doers.

But there's a Venn diagram intersection here where people, not necessarily evil muvvers at first, become so.  Palpatine was just an evil muvver right through, Anakin became one, as did Jackboot Jacinda.

Apart from being weak and impressionable, why did Jacinda go that way?  Twitter are forcing us to see, at the top of the timeline, an advert for BLM, followed by a tweet by Marcus Rashford, a black football player.  Methinks we need to look beyond MR's susceptibility and more at Jacinda's and similar indigenous - and don't bother telling me about the Maoris, I mean the indigenous over the past few hundred years.  In fact, in the UK, the argument is even stronger.

Why would a Caucasian woman do such a thing?  The answer is that she thinks she's doing good, is on the moral side, the higher side.  Totally ignoring the invasion, the thousands of rapes, the bashings, lootings, even murders at Reading - totally ignoring that, these people focus only on what the narrative tells them to.  I can't say Rashford was out of order carrying on about child poverty - meaning blacks - that's his bag and there it is.

But I do really object to those of our land who do it.  What is wrong with their minds that they cannot see what they are supporting?  Obviously, it's a red hot, razor sharp sort of propaganda which can make a human get things so wrong.

Then again, look at all the people who voted Johnson.  They did so because they were trapped in the narrative which said that the only alternative was Corbyn, even though so many of us knew Johnson had no intention of an honourable Brexit.  What did I do?  I voted TBP.  Farage should be charged with treason.

Part of it is that they egg each other on, the Woke, all their friends are the same, those bonds are strong.  They've never seen a counter-argument put gently and rationally, they only see our apoplexy at their inanity ... see, there I go again.
