[priorities] of some blog readers

The posts are a bit crowded in line today but I just had to run this.

Jams often gets upwards of 30 comments on a post at his blog and in fact, his current fun item entitled "What and where am I - there's a prize in it" has attracted, at the time of writing, 29 comments.

Interestingly, the post before, on the Trafigura crime of dumping toxic waste on the Ivory Coast capital [an issue I'll take up probably tomorrow morning] got how many comments, do you think?

That's right - zero, nol, zilch, not one, before mine.

  1. I'll only leave a comment if I feel I have something to add. I enjoyed your article on the evolution of computer viruses for instance, but felt no need to comment as I really had nothing to add to an excellent piece of work.

  2. That is because the post was so informative there was no need for additional comment :-)

  3. I wouldn't worry James.Seriously it is easier to comment on a froviolous post than it is on a serious one.

At least the post is the second most visited page on my blog at present... after the one about the rude Haribo candy.. A lot of people looking for porn have been disappointed!

As for the prize pic nobody is even close yet!

  4. While more comments on such posts would be nice, I can take comfort from the placement of many of my posts are at or close to the top of Google lists. I will usually get better placings than say Harry's Place or Ian Dale if we were to post on similar subjects.

I'll go and lie down before I start formulating plans to dominate the Universe!

Comments need a moniker of your choosing before or after ... no moniker, not posted, sorry.
