A bit of a bore who happened across an odd little literary genius to be his biographer.

ReplyDeleteHe had some amusing things to say about my favourite folks (Ye ken?) too.
In between all that wittyfying he managed to compile the archetype of all English dictionaries, but I'm sure you know all that and more about the venerable Doctor, Higham.
Maybe a bore but an erudite one who spoke words of wisdom. But yes, Boswell was the goods.
