[keyes] beautiful

Hat tip Lord T, from here.

Changing the topic, this on privacy and the lack of choice in the UK now:

Just look at what BT does with your phone service now. You don’t even want a BT phone but you need one to get a broadband connection with any ISP so you pay BT £11+ a month even if you don’t need, want or use the phone. OFCOM should fix this but is clearly toothless. It’s effectively a cash cow for BT and an additional cost for subscribers that looks very much like a license fee on broadband. BT marketing did well here. What consent is required for this? If you want broadband by anyone other than Virgin then you need to pay it and sign up to their user agreement. No options.

  1. Even by British standards, BT has got to be the greedest, most incompetent corporation in the UK.

  2. Wow Just watched the Utube.

Good on him for taking such risks and saying what needed to be said.

I do so love these sorts.

  3. You don't need a BT line to have broadband, although the line will be owned by BT. Openreach means that any provider that wishes to can supply your line.

  4. I've seen this before. I am very happy that Keyes said this about Barry! Keyes says the truth and pulls no punches. I don't call Barry the President, I call him the occupant of the Office of POTUS, since he still has not (and probably never will) submit his birth certificate to the public for viewing. Did you see our tea protests the other day? There were 800! I went to one in Lafayette and posted the links to the photos! Our girl who was dressed up in colonial regala has been very popular on the 'net!
