[u.s. and europe] in good hands

Berlu's back with a vengeance.

Sarko, George and wife appear to be on the same team.

Let's look at that salute one more time.

Wonder who their leader is?

  1. Jemas,

    In camera openly.

I didn't realise there were three parts to it. Is this Trinity debauched?

Is this a statement of prurient minds taking a certain satisfaction in others lack of knowledge?

    Sheer arrogance, methinks.

    STB.

  2. I did hear an explanation given for it - something about the hand of friendship or prosperity or peaqce or whatever.

Some young people say it's common among them and is just a term of greeting. Some make the distinction in the finger position.

Many things are said, everything except Il Cornuto, which it is.

Clinton, Arafat, Pat Robertson, Avril Lavigne, Elizabeth Taylor, Tommy Franks, Prince William - all have been photographed using it.

    Must be innocent, eh?

  3. Whatever it means it looks a bit like Take me to your leader'...

Or maybe they just got the Vulcan greeting wrong ;-)

  4. I realize you don't have a clue about sports in the US James, but I'll let you in on a secret.

Barb and W are Texas fans... the Longhorns who use that sign as their sign.

  5. The Hook 'em horns salute is here, Verlin.

Also, while you're about it, you might like to check the Deaf sign for love. Helen Keller has an interesting background when you look at her private life.

Of course Longhorns fans are pretty well ignorant of this thing and one more question - why would Bush and wife both be using the same sign as all the other world leaders at their presidential convention?

How do the Longhorns enter the field of world leadership?

    Who's being hoodwinked, my son?

  6. In the US you don't leave your sports simply because you are a politician.

Of course, you think the world is ending later next week, so it doesn't really matter to you.

  7. and :)

the rumormill isn't what you'd call the most credible source to be using to 'prove' a point James. Since I actually KNOW Texas fans (and not rely on some website), the position of the fingers doesn't seem set in stone to them; the horns are the most important part to those guys.

  8. That's right, Verlin - that's what I was saying - those fans wouldn't be aware of what they were doing.

The Rumormill is not the point - it's common knowledge across the world. If you need a credible source, might I suggest Anton la Vey's Temple of Set.

They'll confirm the Il Cornuto - that's if you get out of there alive.

    :)

  9. Blimey. They are all headbangers. Who would have thought.

  10. Here in the U.S., James, that gesture is as omnipresent as the peace sign... LN is right about it being the Texas Longhorns' salute (and I've never known a Texas fan who was vigilant about how many fingers the thumb covered) but here in the North it's just a gesture that means, loosely, "rock on."

    I really don't think they're Satanists, James.

  11. Absolutely, Ruthie - they think it's just a "rock on" sign but it IS actually the Il Cornuto they're using.

The people that is. The leadership, on the other hand - they know VERY well what they're doing.
