I know at least 3 people I can think off 'off hand' who have post polio syndrome. Only one is someone I've met through the 'disability' world. Thankfully they are all past a certain age and I've never known anyone young to have this. Is it personal experience or the recent demise of (a) prompting this interesting observation? Bendy Girl
ReplyDeleteI remember having to take the vaccine on a sugar cube!
ReplyDeleteJames my first 100%. Thank you. The only name I didn't really know was the Watergate guy but as he was the only one left at the end it was easy.
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't just choose easy ones because you were rushing to your party.
Mad bomber, poor Robert Oppenheimer was so much more than that. It is said he should have won the Nobel Prize for some of his work.
ReplyDeleteSadly the polio vaccine does not always work. The "old scientist" had an Indian post doctoral fellow who lost his son to polio despite having been vaccinated.
Oh, I just worked out that highlighting thing1
