Know exactly what before, though, James? That an attack was likely? - You wouldn't have to be the PM to have figured out that. Or are you saying he had intelligence of when it might happen, which is a different matter?
ReplyDeleteAs with the Diana thing, Welshcakes,I like to see all the wisps of evidence taped out on the table, so to speak. Then stand back from them and think the thing through.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the most likely scenario - G8, Olympics, other matters, the Israel factor, the report which came too early, the nature of the response? One might not be able to definitively prove he knew how and when but it was highly convenient for his raft of legislation due to be put to the house that it happened whilst he'd left for Scotland.
The poll was just people's opinions and a glance at it this evening is fairly indicative.
