Our Irish friends are in town for the show tomorrow night. Not great conditions to be putting up their stage, with strong winds and rain. I was surprised how much cash they take in from one concert. 60,000 people times $100 minimum ticket price means takings of at least $6 million. My old boss and his wife were U2 devotees and flew all over the US to see them. They flew to LA for the weekend from Washington DC. Personally I find them dull and repetitive. I wonder what the Christian play list is.
