[late autumn] and the big snowflakes fall

Don’t you just detest the sleet, the drizzle, the damp cold and the icy roads? On the other hand, don’t you just love big flakes of snow softly settling over the land, in the trees, on jackets and hoods and on rooftops? This evening we have this and I’ll have to check with Tom whether he has it as well. It’s a winter wonderland and the harsh cacophony of the city has been dampened as people silently pass each other on their way home after work, home to warm apartments and piping hot food waiting at the table.
