Sex and drugs and rock ’n roll sang Ian Dury in the 80s. I was thinking yesterday about the sort of thing you’d do with a few hours on your hands to kick about and not wishing to spend money and how it varies country to country. If we pass over drinking and leave the ubiquitous rumpy-pumpy to the end of the article and if we leave aside what we’re doing right now – blogging - what do people do with their time [or more correctly – what did people do which I can remember]?
