The US and South Korea have had a long relationship but everything changes. President Roh Moo-hyun's summit with George Bush on Thursday may have changed relations indelibly. There was a distinct atmosphere of distrust and South Korea has new perspectives, for example the irreversible dismantlement of the US-ROK Combined Forces Command.
