Agreed, it is toxic and I don't like the layout either. That said for stuff on the 'steal', the coming mid-terms and to a lesser extent the fallout from the Wuhan bioweapon, at the moment it's the best we have all in one place. I will shift my focus probably after Trump's win in '24 :)

Epoch is just as bad.  Whoever controls the publishing/business model for those two is taking the p*** and I don’t like that attitude.


On the other hand, I agree with Steve that they do gather together, and always remember Steve includes many other sources as well.  Diligently.

Leave aside the reasoning just for now … there’s the question of simple respect for those who do buy into this way of getting discussion going without having to be IDed.  I can’t very well put through comments which show no regard etc. etc.

However, there was some talk yesterday about how Ggl Blgr are playing tricks with the commenting process, so maybe that’s the issue?  If so, then I might have to devise a new system.

By the way, those comments are always saved in case we get a moniker later.

We had rain early morn but they still reduce water flow to homes, out of sympathy I suppose.  My mate and I up here in the NW were having a bit of a laugh about the hopelessness of the SE ‘authorities’.  I mean how many reservoirs were there, and then they closed how many and built on that with another thousand houses … all these newcomers to house, y’know …

… so does the SE get new water supplies?  Nah, they just talk about stealing our water from up here and piping it SE. Get yer effing hands off our water!  I bet though that the greedy company who controls water supplies up here has something dastardly in mind.
