What we on the whole singularly fail to understand
Including me.
In a nutshell, the problem is that something is popular because it's good in some way. Just as Twitter hangs on because our side needs that instant news feed from conservatives, so the other side plays on that and our own side scorns those who still use it.
Do not think I don't see that. Same with MLB, PL football, F1, the things that used to make life pleasant. In the longer term, those who've done this to us will get theirs, starting with a few resistance victories, but in the meantime - as we boycott one pleasure after another because these creeps have wormed their way into being in charge, so our pleasures, enjoyment, bonhomie do diminish to nothing.
They don't give a damn about the game or the Nike sportswear or whatever - they're only interested in depriving us of it. So, in that light, the Donald has spoken:
Going to have to repeat it but 'teach' big business? There is this constant misconception that they're remotely interested in developing their businesses, providing employment and so on. To businessmen, to us, to anyone sane - yes, we'd not wish to hurt our brand.
Not them. They're of the socialist Woke mindset - the game plan is to run the business into the ground, that is the summum bonum. Lose all conservative custom? So what?
This is what our side singularly fails to understand - they plan to cripple the economy, tank it, then in sweeps Stage five nirvana, so they think.
Monday thaws out just a little

There was an anonymous comment at 11:28 but again no moniker, so sadly, can't post. The comment was:
Still Monday
11. From the BBC Weather Page
UK Summary: Unseasonably cold, snow showers for northern areas. Further south will see rain in the morning.
It's showing 4 degrees just now [39F]. Will leap up to a giddy 7 degrees though.

Oxford/Cambridge women’s race, Cambridge won. A commentator, “it doesn’t matter who won, it’s the taking part that counts. I couldn’t care less who wins. But what a Wokey statement, what’s the point of having a race if the result doesn’t matter. It’s a race, of cause it does.
