Ugly, amateurish grille to which all lines lead, ugly lines, boxy, too much metal, little glass, muscle car look which was never Jaguar's thing - it's awful. Your opinion?

When I was a little kid in Las Vegas, one of our neighbors had one of these, and it was a hoot to ride in it. It's been one of my favorite sports cars ever since then.

ReplyDeleteCherie - it's too modernistic, an attempt to take on the Aston Martin, I suspect but the Aston Martin stylists are so much better.
M'lady - glad you think that too. At first I thought it was just me. I can't see anything wrong with retro ideas within a modern package.
The only thing I notice about cars is their colour.

This car is a heifer.
A few weeks back a convoy of sporty Jaguars passed me in a narrow lane in Dorset. Almost all were painted Br*tish Racing Green.

An uncle of mine, now sadly deceased long since, owned a crimson Jaguar 2.4 with a black cloth roof in the early '60s. What a joy that was to be driven in.
