[end of britain] it's official

The hated monstrosity in all its ignominy

Here it is at last - the traitors have done it and it took an American to say it:
Britain Surrenders

I'm sure all of my Brit friends have had a bad day if they've kept abreast at the news. No one I've talked to actually believed that Britain would actually sign the EU Treaty, but they have done it.

The EU is becoming a country, slowly but surely; this is the latest step in depriving the citizens of the countries of Europe of their ability to govern their lands.

Click for the rest of the story
Since 1066 they have tried and failed. Napoleon failed. Hitler failed. Now the quislings within the borders have seized the highest offices, courtesy of a credulous public in the early 90s, swayed by a pretty face and fine words - and the result is here for all to see.

Sad, sad day indeed. My, your, grandparents and parents fought against precisely this - the blitz, the blackouts, the rationing, the wasted millions of lives - all for what? For a Scot to be in a position to sign away the rights of England forever. They must be chortling up there but it will be short-lived.

One of the first jobs in the inevitable English fightback is for the gallows on Tyburn to be rebuilt and for Blair, Brown, Milliband and the whole crew on both sides of politics who took the Euro to meet their grisly fate, at English hands. Better get in before the pan-EU army gets well and truly moving.

There is another aspect which must have crossed the minds of those loyal to England. We are now officially insurgents. We are challenging an officially ordained state of affairs, signed into being by an elected member of parliament and a PM within the conventions. And what is the basis of the insurgency? That England is England, Scotland is Scotland, Wales is Wales and Ireland is Ireland. That is our treason against the EU we're now officially part of.

And insurgents get rounded up. Look at the legislation in place to do so.

Let me finally quote Holmes:
The Englishman is a patient creature but at present his temper is a little inflamed and it would be as well not to try him too far.
Conan Doyle did not appear to me to be given to hysteria or wild words. He simply stated it as it was.

Rest in peace, Britain. It was a great idea whilst it lasted. England, your time has come to fight back.

  1. Aside from the fact that branding all europeanists traitors devalues your argument, didn't we give up part of our sovereignty to NATO?

  2. There is no devaluing, Dave, only treason. It's as plain as the nose on your face.

  3. Sadly my generation -- the youngsters aren't interested. So long as the ipods keep flowing etc they won't stand up for anything sensible.

  4. They thought about the gallows when new liebour first came to power. The first act of parliament was the abolition of the death penalty for treason. I'm sure that would not worry the mob though

  7. They've stitched us up bit by bit over the past 10 years. The fuel protest tomorrow for example is neutered by the fact that after the last demo Labour introduced a new law banning fuel depot blockades.
Every democratic means we have of protest has been curtailed to the point where a march of 1 million people can't make a difference.
Read some of the articles here if you don't think more power will be leaked over the coming years:

    Then we have:
    EuroGendFor
    EuroPol
    EuroJust

Give it 20 years and Europe will be a Federal state.

  8. The neighbours have got their terrorist groups, yet the English, for all the punishments inflicted on them by the British establishment for their loyalty, have yet to do more than voice their anger.
As the largest nation in the UK, the British elite would get their just desserts if the English behaved as the neighbours do.
It would be deserved and I would support it fully.

  9. dave cole: using an organization for common defense in a time of (cold) war is not exactly the same as allowing your country to be swallowed into the EU

  10. I don't give a stuff about Britain. It's the balkanisation of England (for the sake of the Union) I care about.

  11. Well, then, I must be a traitor. I'm not sure how removing my entrails will help the political debate, but such is life.

Article V of the Washington Treaty means that an attack on one in the North Atlantic Area is an attack on all, and an attacked country can call on forces via SHAPE to defend itself. That is giving up some sovereignty, and I would say that defence sovereignty is pretty bloody important, but what we receive from the sharing is pretty good.

If that is too much, we do not have design sovereignty over our nuclear missiles. Scary, huh?

Anonymous 12:17 said "As the largest nation in the UK...". Germany and France have larger populations than the UK; France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Finland and Italy have larger areas, as does Denmark if you include Greenland; Germany has less representation per head in the European Parliament, while Spain, Italy and France have exactly the same representation per head; Britain has the highest number of votes in the council (29) along with Germany, France and Italy. There's not that much cause for complaint; money is redistributed from the UK to other parts of Europe, but then money is redistribute from London to the rest of England. Of course, if you're arguing for London's independence, things change somewhat.

  12. The EU hasn't had it's accounts signed off for 13 years for god sake. This is not a common defence policy, this is the next step into a total loss of control over our country, how can people be so damn blind.
Next step is England cut down into bite size chunks!

  14. I have to say, James, that this leaves me slightly concerned. If the UK becomes part of the United States of Europe, where does that leave Jersey, and what will we do about it?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yes, Jersey. It already has a French influence though, doesn't it? I'd like to know where it would stand. Maybe your Free Jersey desire might become a reality.

  16. Englisc Fyrd - "Since 1994 the Court of Auditors has been required to provide a "declaration of assurance". This has proved a problem due as ever since then they have been unable to provide it due, refusing to endorse large parts of the budget despite on declaring the accounts to be "reliable". This has led to media reports of the EU accounts being "riddled with fraud" where as the problems centre more on errors in paperwork despite correct spending. Hence the system has drawn criticism due to creating this perception. The Commission in particular have stated that the bar is too high and that only 0.09% of the budget is subject to fraud." (Wikipedia, but sums it up well).

  17. James: well, Jersey's status is defined under Protocol 3 of the UK's Treaty of Accession. Apparently (and I'm quoting here from an offical States of Jersey document dating from 1989: "The [EEC] Treaty shall apply to the Island only in relation to arrangements for the free movement of manufactured and agricultural goods."

Basically, in a few defined areas, EU law applies as if we are part of the UK as a Member State, otherwise we are a "third country".

So if the UK does get subsumed, we're out on our own. We either dive in fully, or go our own way.

And the basis on which you state this, Dave?

What do you consult on, Proctology?

  21. From the Naked Communist (Cleon Skousen)
Noted in U.S. Congressional Record on January 10, 1963
    Found Here

    Current Communist Goals:
    3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

    11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

    16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

    17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations.

    19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

    20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

    21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

    22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

    23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

    24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

    25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

    27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

    28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

    29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

    30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

    31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture."

    38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

    39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

    40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

    41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

    42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

The above goals seem to reflect strongly the aspirations I see prevalent all around me, promoted ad nauseum by PC communists in the media and political spectrum.
Such should be brought to everyones attention!

More than interesting Russian perspective which I'm going to post on later.

  24. But our grandparents weren't quite sure what they were fighting for and my parents' generation fought fascism, not a united Europe, James! And it's a pity Napoleon failed, if you ask me. There you are - you can group me with the Quislings now.
