A shop can decide it won't take cash if it wants. Generally you don't have to buy from thsat shop. We had a shop here that insisted on Id for items that the stasi suggested they should and I used to take great pleasure in walking to the till with a few hundred quids worth of goods, arguing with them about id while waving cash and then walking out leaving the goods on the counter. Just refuse to do business with them.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that it means you need to carry cash and most of su find the credit/debit card too convenient and won't put ourselves out. unless we stick together cash will die and then we will have the stasi controlling what we buy and eat. People are just too stupid nowadays.
