Regarding the first I recall a short video of a Chevron geologist who more or less said the same thing - the interview was from the 1960's. The formation of crude oil is a constant process and virtually inexhaustible, he explained. The 'film' was found amongst his private possessions after he died. His was the only copy as the original master had been destroyed by Chevron shortly after it was made.

    1. #13: this theory was promoted for years by Tom Gold of Cambridge and Cornell. Nothing secret or mysterious about it. Hell the Swedish government encouraged drilling to test the theory.

How else can all those hydrocarbons be explained?

  2. Steve - you don't mean Fletcher Prouty do you? I just found the 2 hr. interview his famous 'oil is not a fossil fuel' clip comes from --- shall listen later, he knew stuff... his book 'The Secret Team: The CIA and Its Allies in Control of the United States and the World'

A book from 2005.. 'Black Gold Stranglehold' -- ''presents research that oil is not a product of decaying dinosaurs and prehistoric forests. Rather, it is a natural product of the earth'' .... ''The authors offer an understanding of the dangerous situation America faces because its currency is no longer tied to any precious metals such as gold. This situation could easily lead to the devastation of the U.S. economy if Middle Eastern countries enact current plans to accept only the Euro or gold-backed currencies.'' -- (Saddam dead in 2006 - and Gaddafi - 2011)

    F. W. Engdahl : 'Myths Lies and Oil Wars' ... As Henry Kissinger said ''If you control the oil you control entire nations.'' ... The converse is also true -- If oil cannot be controlled the controlling powers lose their control over other nations.......... Kissinger birthday tomorrow 27th May

Engdahl references T Gold in this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhP4wrnAWFM&t=787s

Sorry pete I don't recall his name, only who he worked for and what he said. He was a serious man with inside knowledge about what would've been an industrial secret back then.

    2. "what would've been an industrial secret back then." My eye. Tom Gold's work was openly published and much discussed. Undergraduates learnt about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Gold#Origins_of_petroleum
